Quality Assurance Legislation

The governing authorities of the seven Irish Universities have delegated to the IUQB the role of determining the protocols for the conduct of the reviews of the effectiveness of the quality assurance procedures in the universities as required by Section 35(4) of the Universities Act (1997).The Board will approve the membership of the review teams that will conduct these periodic reviews.
